Allison B. Shudnow MS, RD, LDN received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition-Dietetics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then completed her Dietetic Internship at the Bronx Veterans Affairs Medical Center while earning her Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University (NYU). Allison holds a Certification in Adult Weight Management through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Allison is very passionate about the nutritional treatment of individuals struggling with eating disorders. She is employed at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL as a Clinical Dietitian. Her main job function is providing nutrition therapy for individuals with eating disorders. Allison works with eating disorder patients at the outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and inpatient levels of care. In addition, Allison has experience leading eating disorder support groups (ANAD) for individuals struggling with eating disorders and their friends and family.

Allison is considered an expert in the nutritional treatment of eating disorders. She has presented on the topic of nutritional counseling for the eating disorder patient and her clientele has included Hollywood celebrities. In addition, Allison has consulted and provided nutritional services for the Tyra Banks Show. Her expertise was recognized on both the Tyra Banks Show and website.
